About Bernadette Cavallo
I am a native of Newburgh and for as the long as I can remember, have been in awe of the Hudson Valley and all its natural beauty. The mountains, the Hudson River and its history are forever etched in my heart. Most days I go for long walks, taking in all the beauty that surrounds me, enjoying the change of seasons and the natural rhythm of nature’s flow.
I’ve always been amazed by the intricate synchronicity of just how closely human nature and environmental nature relate. Similar to environmental nature, there are natural rhythms within the human body. When these rhythms are functioning efficiently, not only is the body-mind connection enhanced, but there is also a body-wide communication that occurs, which in turn creates synchronicity, balance and stability to every system of the body. There are, however, many things that can create interference in our natural flow. The mind, our thoughts, beliefs and perceptions, poor diet, inflammation, stress and how we deal with it, trauma, postural imbalances, surgery, prescription drugs, sedentary lifestyle, active lifestyle—the list goes on and on.
I offer an array of modalities to release the barriers that impede the body’s natural flow and therefore restore balance.
The focus of my work is to individualize each session based on my clients’ needs. In addition, I believe it is imperative to educate and empower each person to take an active approach in their healing process. I offer suggestions and techniques to encourage my clients to do just that.
